Trina Higgiston

Vice President, Property Management

Ms. Higgiston joins Castle Lanterra with over 25 years of industry experience as Vice President, Property Management, responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the assets managed by Castle Lanterra’s property management affiliate, Pontis Property Management.

Prior to joining Castle Lanterra, Ms. Higgiston was Director of Property Management for a market rate portfolio consisting of over 9,000 units where she was responsible for all functions and operational management. Ms. Higgiston spent almost two decades at Fieldstone Properties I, LLC as Vice President of Operations where she oversaw all operational management, renovations, and marketing of a portfolio of over 5,000 units at 13 market rate apartment communities. In addition to facilitating property takeovers and implementing new management policies and procedures, her responsibilities included supervising a team of 100 employees with responsibility for daily coaching, performance, evaluations, hiring, and terminations. Ms. Higgiston began her career at Roseland Management Company, most recently as Director of Operations.

Ms. Higgiston attended Rowan University and is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor as well as a Certified Apartment Leasing Professional with the National Apartment Association. Ms. Higgiston is also a Garden State Award winner for Management Company of the Year, receiving the honor in 2019 with Fieldstone Properties and again in 2024 with Pontis Property Management.
