As Staff Tax Accountant, Ms. Savela is responsible for reviewing tax filings and maintaining accurate financial records across a portfolio of partnerships and corporate entities. In this role, she supports the tax reporting process, ensures compliance with applicable regulations, and contributes to the efficient execution of accounting operations.
Ms. Savela brings valuable experience in taxation and financial reporting, with a background in both public accounting and state and local tax (SALT). Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior Tax Associate in the State and Local Tax group at PwC, where she focused on multistate tax compliance, planning, and nexus determination. Additionally, she worked as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where she gained experience in tax analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance across a diverse client base.
Ms. Savela received a B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University and remains committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with evolving tax laws and industry best practices.
